Reflection on Flash Coding
The way I would use action script coding for a creative process is to make simple puzzle games to crack some of the information retrieved by the soldiers. These would be a test of reflex using a timed based reaction. For example, the 5 lights puzzle, where if you flip one light switch, the 2 next to one flipped switches to the opposite state it was originally in. It’s a very common puzzle and a simple one that even if you never played one, it’s easy to figure out. However, you technically lose when all the lights are red. The coding would contain a lot of “if” statements. A puzzle is the least of my concerns, because there’s a lot of art I still need to complete.
