BPA Reflection
The work we did for BPA was fairly solid and I think we did a awesome job during presentation. One of the judges seems to know a bit about 3D while the 2nd judge was just a common judge. At first, however, they said we can use the teacher's computer in the back that was hooked to the front projector. But we couldn't get the audio station next to the desk to work, so we hurried up and try to set up the cart PC as fast as possible. Hopefully we didn't get points docked due to taking so long, but I don't think the mistake lasted 2 minutes. I was too busy trying to get the initial computer to work to listen to the introduction Matt and Nick said. After we shown the video, they looked somewhat impressed. After I explained our work, that’s when Judge 1 revealed that he has experience with 3D studio max and claims the rotoscope effect was difficult to do in his past experiences. The 2nd judge didn’t seem to know much about 3D. She asked the most questions, like why we picked the scenes we did. And we said the answer being that we were following the script while maintaining the idea of BPA in a creative way. After a long silence they dismissed us, and we left with a final handshake.
